Pork imports slowing after booming year: Podcast

Slower growth in pork imports expected moving forward.

Imported pork volumes entering the China/Hong Kong region have been record large this year, but Joel Haggard, U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF) senior vice president for the Asia Pacific, recently reported that with an expansion of China’s domestic pork production, the pace of imports is now slowing.
