Pilgrim's poultry product recall continues to expand

Total amount of poultry products recalled rises to more than 5.5 million lb.

Pilgrim’s Pride Corp. is recalling an additional 376,380 lb. of fully cooked chicken products that may have been contaminated with extraneous materials, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety & Inspection Service (FSIS) announced May 13.

More than 5.5 million lb. of fully cooked chicken products have been recalled by the company since the initial recall was issued April 7.
