AGRICAPITAL ADVISORS, New York, N.Y. — Dennis F. Steadman has joined the firm. Steadman will serve the needs of the animal pharmaceutical and pet products segments and bolster the focus on animal health and nutrition. He was previously with Velcera Pharmaceuticals Inc.

BIRKO, Henderson, Colo. — Cory Parr has joined the company as director of sales, east region. Parr was previously with Ecolab.

CHS INC., St. Paul, Minn. — Lynden Johnson has been promoted to executive vice president, CHS Country Operations, effective Sept. 1. Johnson will pursue continued growth opportunities that add value for owners through the company's local retail operations, animal nutrition and sunflower businesses. He is currently executive vice president, CHS Business Solutions.

John McEnroe will retire from his position as executive vice president, CHS Country Operations, on Dec. 31.

Lisa Zell has been promoted to executive vice president, CHS Business Solutions, effective Sept 1. Zell will lead programs and products that support cooperatives, agribusinesses and producers that are offered through CHS Aligned Solutions, CHS Capital, CHS Hedging and CHS Insurance. She is currently executive vice president and general counsel.

DIAMOND V, Cedar Rapids, Iowa — Tiffany Kwan has joined the research and innovation team as research associate. Kwan will focus on microbial interactions, fermentation technologies, microbial metabolism and pathogen mitigation. She was previously with the University of Georgia.

Francisco Portela has joined the international poultry team as poultry specialist. Portela will serve poultry producers in Latin American countries and Canada.

ECO AGRO RESOURCES, High Point, N.C. — Norm Davy has been appointed executive vice president-global sales and marketing. Davy was previously with GEOSYS.

GROWMARK INC., Bloomington, Ill. — Jim Spradlin has been named chief executive officer, effective Sept. 16. Spradlin will lead the management team. He is currently vice president of agronomy.

H.J. BAKER, Westport, Conn. — Clark Springfield has joined the Feed Division as general manager. Springfield will oversee all aspects of the Feed Division.

HUBBARD, Quintin, France — Gary Millar has joined the company as international business development manager. Millar will focus on the Asian region.

NEBRASKA CORN BOARD, Lincoln, Neb. — Kelly Brunkhorst has been selected as executive director. Brunkhorst is currently director of research.

Don Hutchens will retire as executive director, effective July 30.

SWEET MANUFACTURING CO., Springfield, Ohio — Lisa Gordon has joined the company as customer service specialist. Gordon will assist customers worldwide with technical specifications and capabilities of products, answer questions about replacement and add-on parts for existing products in the field and help customers with all aspects of their orders.

U.S. GRAINS COUNCIL, Washington, D.C. — Lucas Szabo has joined the council as global strategies coordinator. Szabo will assist the global strategies and trade policy/biotechnology departments, organize staff and member travel, prepare arrangements for visiting teams and facilitate program planning, correspondence, reports, information management and contracting.

VETS PLUS INC., Menomonie, Wis. — Kelton Spain has joined the company as national account manager. Spain will focus on the food animal business in the western U.S. He was previously with Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica Inc.

VIRTUS NUTRITION, Corcoran, Cal. — Bryce Chatt has joined the company as Great Lakes sales manager. Chatt will call on nutritionists, dairy producers and feed mill operations in Ohio, Michigan and Indiana.

Daniel Knoll has joined the company as southern sales manager. Knoll will be responsible for sales in Kansas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico and Arizona.

WENGER FEEDS, Rheems, Pa. — Jeffrey Murphy has joined the company as poultry division chief operating officer. Murphy will manage all aspects of the poultry division, including managing a team of layer and poultry service technicians and coordinating pullet growing, contract egg production and egg marketing. He was previously with TRI Technologies and Cardinal Technologies.
