BALCHEM CORP., New Hampton, N.Y. — Dr. Dave Prentice has been named to the technical services team. Prentice will support the sales team in the Upper Midwest region. He was previously with Elanco Animal Health.

BIORIGIN, Paulista, Brazil — Dr. Felipe de Conti Horta has been named animal nutrition products manager. Horta will be responsible for positioning and increasing the sales of existing animal nutrition products and launching new products. He was most recently technical expert.

CANTRELL, Gainesville, Ga. — Nick Biddy has been named designer/mechanical engineer. Biddy will be responsible for developing plant layouts, project and equipment drawings and quotes on material costs. He will design and provide costs for customer equipment, assist sales managers with sales support and customer consultations and prepare work procedures for production assembly.

FARM CREDIT SYSTEM INSURANCE CORP., McLean, Va. — James M. Morris will retire as general counsel, effective May 31.

Howard Rubin has been designated general counsel. Rubin has served as executive assistant and counsel to the chairman.

THE FERTILIZER INSTITUTE, Washington, D.C. — Christopher L. Jahn has been named president, effective Sept. 9. Jahn will work with members to expand the reach with policy-makers and the general public. He was previously with the National Association of Chemical Distributors.

MONSANTO CO., St. Louis, Mo. — Leo Brown has joined the company as livestock business manager in the Minnesota/Wisconsin region. Brown will be responsible for building and executing a multi-brand approach to the silage market. He was previously with DuPont Pioneer.

Rich Lutz has joined the company as livestock business manager in the Ohio/Northeast region. Lutz will be responsible for building and executing a multi-brand approach to the silage market. He was previously with BASF Plant Science.

REPROQUEST, Fitchburg, Wis. — Joel Rozeboom has been promoted to national sales manager. Rozeboom will lead the sales team. He was most recently director of manufacturing.

WORLD DAIRY EXPO, Madison, Wis. — Ann Marie Magnochi has been named dairy cattle show manager, beginning June 10. Magnochi will manage the cattle show functions, including the breed shows, breed sales, youth contests, ethics and the Dairy Cattle Superintendents and Dairy Cattle Exhibitor committees. She was previously with Holstein World.
