CFD, Conklin, N.Y. — Dr. Dale Fisher will retire as director of nutrition.

Dr. Eric Reid has joined the co-op as director of nutrition. Reid was previously with The Old Mill Troy.

LESAFFRE FEED ADDITIVES, Milwaukee, Wis. — Donald Harper has joined the company as regional sales manager for the far west region of the U.S. Harper was previously with Milk Specialties Corp.

Gary Mitchell has joined the company as regional sales manager for the Great Lakes region. Mitchell was previously with Monsanto.

NOVOGEN, Quintin, France — Christophe Pate has joined the company as international business development manager. Pate was previously with Evialis.

VALMONT INDUSTRIES INC., Omaha, Neb. — Mark C. Jaksich has been appointed executive vice president and chief financial officer. Jaksich was most recently vice president and corporate controller.

VITA PLUS CORP., Madison, Wis. — Dr. Nicole Barkley has joined the dairy technical services team as dairy nutritionist. Barkley will provide technical leadership to dealer consultants in central and western Wisconsin. She will assist with on-farm troubleshooting, share expertise with technical staff members and assist in company-wide projects.

Augusta Hagen has joined the dairy technical services team as dairy specialist in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. Hagen will provide technical leadership and training to consultants in the area and share nutrition and management expertise through company-wide projects.

Pat Hoffman has joined the dairy technical services team as dairy technical support specialist. Hoffman will be responsible for training and mentoring new consultants, authoring articles for trade publications and coordinating dairy field trials or sponsored research. He was previously with the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Dr. Noah Litherland has been named dairy youngstock technical specialist. Litherland will consult with calf and heifer raisers to troubleshoot on-farm challenges, provide recommendations based on farm records analysis, assist in product development and lead training for staff, dealers and customers. He was previously with the University of Minnesota.

WHEAT GROWERS, Aberdeen, S.D. — Brad Sibson has been named operations talent manager. Sibson will be responsible for helping the operations group identify and assess team members,  creating and assisting with development plans, mentoring team members and succession planning. He was most recently location manager at the Huron and Wolsey, S.D., locations.
