ANIMAL AGRICULTURE ALLIANCE, Arlington, Va. -- Emily Meredith has been appointed director of communications. Meredith will develop, oversee and implement all aspects of the communications strategy, including social media initiatives. She was previously with the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food Safety & Inspection Service.

CHR. HANSEN, Milwaukee, Wis. -- Kory Duerst has joined the company as dairy account manager. Duerst will expand dairy sales programs in Wisconsin and Minnesota. He was previously with Heartland Country Cooperative.

INFORMA ECONOMICS INC., Memphis, Tenn. -- Seanicaa Edwards has joined the company as livestock and meat analyst. Edwards will be responsible for fundamental analysis of the hog and pork markets, price forecasting, client communication and support for projects that include a livestock component. She was previously with Doane Agricultural Advisory Services.

Chris Rutland has joined the project consulting group as a consultant. Rutland was previously with Texas A&M University.

JCB, Savannah, Ga. -- Arjun Mirdha will be appointed chief operating officer, effective Jan. 1.  Mirdha will oversee sales, commercial operations, parts and service, manufacturing, marketing communications and product marketing. He is currently executive vice president of sales/marketing and service.

LALLEMAND ANIMAL NUTRITION, Milwaukee, Wis. -- Stephane Desjardins has joined the company as business manager for eastern Canada. Desjardins will support the continued growth of large dealers and expand the company's presence in eastern Canada. He was previously with BouMatic.

Mahmoud Masadeh has joined the company as technical services-poultry. Masadeh will support the growth of the poultry business in North America and globally. He was previously with Tecumseh Poultry LLC.

Anna Wagner has joined the company as marketing assistant. Wagner will promote the Sil-All Forage Inoculant products in North America and will provide support for the entire range of products. She was previously with BouMatic and Wilbur-Ellis.

LAND O'LAKES INC., St. Paul, Minn. -- Rod Schroeder will retire from his position as executive vice president and chief operating officer, crop protection products, Winfield Solutions, effective April 30.

Mike Vande Logt will assume the role of executive vice president and chief operating officer in Winfield Solutions, effective Jan. 1. Vande Logt will be responsible for the combined WinField Seed and Crop Protection business. He was most recently executive vice president and COO seed in Winfield Solutions.

NEWPORT LABORATORIES, Worthington, Minn. -- Jonathan Beitia has joined the company as field account manager/key bovine accounts. Beitia will serve as the account manager for Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming, along with key beef accounts across the country.

PROVIMI NORTH AMERICA INC., Brookville, Ohio -- Dr. David Atwell has joined the company as dairy specialist/nutritionist. Atwell will provide technical services to Akey's regional feed manufacturers, consultants and producers in the Upper Midwest. He was previously with Ag Partners Cooperative.
