ANGUS FOUNDATION, St. Joseph, Mo. — Carrie Horsley has joined the foundation as marketing and public relations director. Horsley will develop and execute promotional materials and events, including the annual report, newsletter and website. She will also identify and create new outlets in print and electronic media for the foundation to recognize donors and plan and market events.

ARCHER DANIELS MIDLAND CO., Decatur, Ill. — Ben Bard has been named vice president and global chief compliance officer, effective Jan. 20. Bard will be responsible for the Office of Compliance and will oversee the company's compliance policies and programs, including the code of conduct, ethics helpline, global anti-corruption program, trade compliance, antitrust and competition law, data protection, privacy and conflict of interest policies. He was previously with The Coca-Cola Co.

FEED INGREDIENT TRADING CORP., Delmar, N.Y. — Michel Jourdenais has joined the company as a merchandiser in Quebec of agricultural byproducts and grains. Jourdenais will also trade into the Maritimes, Ont. He was previously with Les Grains Lac Superieur Ltd.

GRAIN STATES SOYA, West Point, Neb. — Dr. Henry Paz has joined the Soy Best team. Paz will work with Soy Best dealers, independent nutritionists, feed manufacturers and dairy producers around the U.S., Canada and Mexico to assist them in utilizing Soy Best and Soy Best PEARL in dairy rations.

IMMUCELL, Portland, Maine — Michaela Spring has joined the company as sales and marketing manager for the western U.S. territory. Spring will focus on the western territory by further establishing relationships with animal health distributors, veterinarians, calf raisers, dairy producers and cow/calf operations.

JCB, Savannah, Ga. — Arjun Mirdha has been appointed president and chief executive officer in North America.

John Patterson has retired as chairman and chief executive officer after 43 years of service. Patterson will remain a director of JCB Group and chairman of the board of the JCB USA companies.

NATIONAL CORN GROWERS ASSN., Chesterfield, Mo. — Janelle Muehleisen has joined the organization as marketing administrative assistant. Muehleisen will support staff in projects related to membership, NASCAR and grassroots activism. She was previously with Paraquad.

NOVUS INTERNATIONAL, St. Charles, Mo. — Dr. Lyle Rode has joined the company as ruminant/dairy technical service manager for the U.S. and Canada. Rode will be responsible for providing technical support for Novus customers and the ruminant sales team in this region. He was previously with the Clearbrook Grain & Milling Group.
