More complete wheat genome released

THE Genome Analysis Centre (TGAC) recently released a more complete and accurate wheat genome assembly for researchers that builds on international efforts in this area.

The resource will help wheat breeders accelerate their crop improvement programs while helping researchers discover genes for key traits such as yield, nutrient use and bread-making qualities.
