Menu nutrition labeling rule still confusing

Senator calls for delay in final implementation of FDA's menu nutrition labeling requirements.

AT the end of 2014, the U.S. Food & Drug Administration finalized two rules requiring calorie information to be listed on menus and menu boards in chain restaurants and similar retail food establishments and vending machines by December 2015.

However, some are indicating that a delay in final implementation may be warranted as businesses try to determine what they need to do to comply with the rules.
