Broiler exports in 2016 expected to increase 6% over 2015.

U.S. poultry exports tumbled 13% in 2015 for a total volume of 3.5 million metric tons as China, South Korea, Angola and other major markets banned all poultry imports from the U.S following a multistate outbreak of the highly pathogenic avian influenza. While some countries have reopened their markets this year, a variety of global challenges remain.
