LIVESTOCK MARKETS: U.S. dairy cow inventory even with last year

Milk price outlook showing some improvement for late summer and fall.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) released milk production numbers on June 21, showing the May dairy cow inventory essentially even with last year’s (up 3,000 head year-over-year).
