Letter to the Editor: Dairy teat sprays causing issues

Dear Editor:

I read with interest the recent article, "Studying respiratory illness in dairy workers" (Feedstuffs, Jan. 19).

I have been stating for some time now that dairy workers milking cows will suffer from respiratory illness from long-term exposure to teat dips that are sprayed on teats. The resulting aerosols will get into their lungs and cause problems.
