Invasive species remain global threat to ag

Research examines worldwide distribution of nearly 1,300 invasive pests and pathogens, trade flows and each country's main crops.

New research from Australia's Commonwealth Scientific & Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) into the global effects of invasive species has found that countries in sub-Saharan Africa are most at risk, while China and the U.S. pose the greatest threat.
