Inside Washington: Mistrust of EPA continues

EPA misusing taxpayer funds and promoting its own agenda appears to be a trend, members of Congress say.

The Environmental Protection Agency has become a bit of a dirty word in the countryside, and continued actions by the agency prove that it hasn’t been able to clean up its act. As a result, farmers' trust in EPA is at an all-time low — and it appears that members of Congress are relaying that lack of trust and calling for increased oversight and accountability from the agency.
