Higher crude oil no help for sinking crop markets: Podcast

Corn, soybean and wheat markets were lower, with soybeans at a one-week low. The winter wheat markets set contract lows.

Weekly export sales were lower for all three crops, but only the corn sales were down more than expected. Rain storms that moved through the dry Southeast may be weighing on wheat markets as the moisture could improve the health of that crop before it enters winter dormancy.
