Group asks EPA to revoke Hawaii's pesticide authority

Earthjustice said Hawaii's ag department has failed to enforce pesticide use violations and has backlog of complaints.

Earthjustice’s office in Honolulu, Hawaii, has asked the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to begin the process of revoking the Hawaii Department of Agriculture’s (HDOA) primary authority to investigate and enforce violations of federal pesticide law in Hawaii.
