Global poultry industry begins work on AMR report

THE International Poultry Council (IPC) pledged that the global poultry industry will move toward a coordinated effort to do its part to address antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in animal agriculture.

At IPC's second semester conference in Estoril, Portugal, delegates representing the poultry industries in more than 20 countries discussed the issue of AMR and agreed to issue a comprehensive report in the next several months.
