Genetics key to beef industry progress

Capitalizing on global marketing opportunity for U.S. beef will require adjustment in strategy.

FARMING and food production are no longer local industries serving just local markets but are now global suppliers with mounting opportunities and risks, Dr. Pete Anderson, director of research for Midwest PMS LLC, told the Cattle Feeders Business Summit.
