Funds available for biomass harvest, delivery

FSA announced that $1.5 million will be available for fiscal year 2017 for farmers and foresters who harvest and deliver biomass for renewable energy.

U.S. Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency (FSA) administrator Val Dolcini announced that $1.5 million will be available in fiscal 2017 for farmers and foresters who harvest and deliver biomass for renewable energy. The funds are from the Biomass Crop Assistance Program (BCAP), which was reauthorized by the 2014 farm bill.
