Full Senate easily passes WRDA bill

House looks to take up its version next week and setting up final conferencing in the lame duck session.

Thursday the U.S. Senate passed the Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) of 2016 by a vote of 95 to 3. The bill will help ensure safe and reliable water infrastructure for communities across the country.

The American Soybean Assn. (ASA) said supports enactment of the two-year WRDA reauthorization bill as a follow-up on the significant reforms and achievements of the WRDA bill enacted in 2014 and to get Congress back to the regular schedule of waterways infrastructure program reau
