FSIS data sharing plan to improve food safety

Results of tests for listeria, E. coli and salmonella conducted at individual slaughterhouses and processing facilities will be published.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety & Inspection Service (FSIS) announced that it will soon begin sharing new levels of food safety data specific to slaughter and processing facilities in the U.S., on Data.gov.
