FDA taps Edwards to lead CVM animal feed division

Edwards' goals include helping implement FSMA and VFD and continuing work on ingredient safety.

The Food & Drug Administration's Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM) announced that Dr. David Edwards has been named director of the Division of Animal Feeds, replacing Dr. Sharon Benz, who retired in December 2015.
