FDA responds to VFD-related questions from Farm Foundation workshops

The Farm Foundation hosted 12 regional workshops during the past year as part of its Antimicrobial Education Project. The workshops provided an opportunity to engage veterinarians, producers and others on the many practical issues associated with implementing the Food & Drug Administration’s Guidance #209, Guidance #213 and the updated Veterinary Feed Directive (VFD) regulation.

The link below goes to the document that FDA’s Center for Veterinary Medicine sent to the Farm Foundation. In it, FDA responds to the unanswered questions from the workshops.
