FDA issues draft guidance on FSMA

Animal food companies other than small and very small businesses will need to come into compliance with CGMPs by Sept. 19.

The U.S. Food & Drug Administration is moving forward with implementing the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), with the first major compliance dates beginning next month for large food facilities.
