U.S. exports of distillers grains set new record in 2015

U.S. exported an estimated 34% of distillers grains last year.

U.S. exports of distillers grains (DGs) set a new record of 12.56 million metric tons in 2015 — 11% higher than in 2014 and more than double the amount exported in 2009, according to a new summary of ethanol co-product trade statistics released by the Renewable Fuels Assn. (RFA). The report adds that U.S. DG exports were shipped to 45 countries on five continents in 2015.
