Export markets still booming

U.S. dairy, meat and poultry exports should see little disturbance from Russia's ban.

LAST week, the topic of discussion across agriculture was the announcement by Russian President Vladimir Putin that Russia is banning imports of several agricultural products, including beef, pork, poultry, cheese and milk from the U.S., in retaliation for Western sanctions.

Overall, Russia has not been a leading destination for U.S. meat and poultry products over the last year, as it has in the past.
