Erber breaks ground on BIOMIN campus

THE Erber Group is building a new campus in Getzersdorf, Austria, that will house the management and administration of the company and its subsidiaries BIOMIN Holding, Romer Labs Holding, Sanphar Holding and Bioferm GmbH.

Situated about 75 km west of Vienna, Austria, the township of Getzersdorf will house the new 53,000 sq. m headquarters of Erber AG. A Nov. 13 groundbreaking ceremony marked the start of construction.

The first phase of the project will see the completion of office, meeting and recreational spaces for up to 400 people. A conference and training center will complete the project.

High insulation capability, groundwater heating and cooling and heat recovery ventilation have been incorporated in the campus' architectural blueprint for high-performance energy efficiency.

Completion of the new four-story building and the move from the current premises in Herzogenburg, Austria, to Getzersdorf are planned for 2015.

BIOMIN develops and produces feed additives, premixes and services to improve animal health and performance in an economically viable way.
