New levels move needle closer to encouraging adoption rather than limiting to current use.

THE Environmental Protection Agency released a new proposed rule for the renewable fuel standard's (RFS) renewable volume obligation numbers for 2014 through 2016, noting that the volumes are below those originally set by Congress but will serve to increase renewable fuel use in the U.S. above historical levels and provide for steady growth over time.
