EPA approves Monsanto's dicamba weed killer

Lower-volatility formulation designed to control weeds in cotton and soybean crops genetically engineered to tolerate dicamba.

Monsanto Co. announced that the Environmental Protection Agency has approved its XtendiMax herbicide with VaporGrip Technology — a low-volatility dicamba herbicide — for in-crop use with Roundup Ready 2 Xtend soybeans and Bollgard II XtendFlex cotton.
