DOJ goes after immigration policies of Washington Potato Co.

Frozen fruits and vegetable companies violated immigration employment verification process.

The Justice Department filed a lawsuit Monday against two Washington-based companies, Washington Potato Co. and Pasco Processing LLC, alleging that they violated the Immigration & Nationality Act (INA) by discriminating against immigrants during the employment eligibility verification process because of their citizenship status. The companies process frozen fruits and vegetables.
