DAIRY.COM announced last week that it has completed the acquisition of Blimling & Associates Inc. and its two sister companies.
The announcement said Dairy.com and Blimling will operate as one company with two divisions. Dairy.com will continue to manage, move and trade bulk dairy commodities through its internet-based business solutions to cooperatives, manufacturers, processors and haulers, and Blimling will continue to provide consulting, market analysis and risk management services.
"Nothing has changed in the way we operate," Dairy.com chief executive officer Scot Sexton said.
Dairy.com is headquartered in Frisco, Texas, and Blimling is located in Madison, Wis. The acquisition agreement was announced earlier this year (Feedstuffs, April 22).
