Dairy program signup 'exceeds expectations'

More than half of dairy program applicants select coverage beyond basic level.

ONE of the most controversial components of the last farm bill debate was the dairy program, but it looks like the nation's dairy producers saw a need for a good risk management tool to deal with both feed costs and milk price levels.
