IN a significant victory for the ethanol industry, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana made its summary judgment decision public last month in the case In re: Method of Processing Ethanol Byproducts & Related Subsystems ('858) Patent Litigation.
The court ruled in favor of all 17 industry defendants, which included ethanol plants and manufacturers of ethanol production equipment, and ruled against the plaintiff,
