Corn, soybeans move higher on South American weather issues: Podcast

Wheat futures advance despite beneficial rain in the Plains.

Corn futures were up about 4 cents as dry weather in Brazil may be hurting the crop there. Meanwhile, soybeans were higher as more rain in Argentina threatens that soy crop, which is ready for harvest.

Wheat futures were higher amid reports of technical buying. The gains in wheat occurred despite widespread beneficial rain this past weekend in the central and southern Plains.<
