The U.S. Grains Council (USGC) said there has been a recent upswing U.S. corn sales to countries around the globe.
“This is good news after months of struggling corn exports due to a strong U.S. dollar and larger-than-expected global corn supplies,” USGC noted.
Mexico remains the top market for U.S. corn this marketing year, with Japan – the traditional top market – catching up with sales of 256,700 metric tons (10.1 million bushels) of U.S. corn last week.
