Corn lower as crop condition improves: Podcast

Investors await outcome of Federal Reserve's annual meeting.

Crop markets were lower on Tuesday, with corn futures down after the U.S. Department of Agriculture reported improvement in the crop to 75% good to excellent condition, while traders had expected a slight decline. Soybeans were lower following a lack of new export business.

Investors in commodities and other asset classes await comments later this week from Federal Reserve bankers at the conclusion of their annual meeting in Jackson Hole, Wyo.
