CHS results take hit in global down-cycle

CHS Inc. announced that its earnings for fiscal 2015 were $781 million, a 28% decline from more than $1.1 billion in fiscal 2014 (Table), reflecting singular events as well as lower margins across its energy and agriculture businesses.

Revenues for the year were $34.6 billion, 19% below last year's $42.7 billion primarily due to lower values for the commodity energy and grains products the cooperative handles.
