China accepts pork from two more U.S. facilities

THE U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety & Inspection Service recently reached an agreement with government officials in China to add two additional U.S. processing facilities — Farmland Foods Inc. of Monmonth, Ill., and Swift Pork Co. of Louisville, Ky. — to a growing list of those eligible to export pork to China.

USDA said the total list now includes six processing and eight cold storage facilities.
