Cargill selling Texas feedyards to Friona

CARGILL announced July 8 the sale of its beef cattle feedyards at Bovina and Dalhart, Texas, to Amarillo, Texas-based Friona Industries LP.

Terms of the pending sale were not disclosed. Finalization of the transaction will take place upon the completion of definitive agreements and any required regulatory reviews.

Cargill will retain its cattle feedyards at Yuma, Colo., and Leoti, Kan.
