Bio-Vet breaks ground on new manufacturing facility

MICROBIAL manufacturer Bio-Vet broke ground in May on a new manufacturing and office facility (pictured) in Barneveld, Wis.

Scheduled for completion in October, the plant will produce direct-fed microbials, capsules, pastes and gels, electrolytes, drenches, silage inoculants and feed additives for cattle, calves, sheep, goats, small ruminants and horses.

Founded in 1991, Bio-Vet researches, manufactures and markets direct-fed microbial and nutritional products for dairy and beef cattle, small ruminants and horses, focusing on using beneficial bacteria to improve animal health and productivity. Its products include capsules, pastes, soluble powders, electrolytes and other daily feed additives.
