Bill extends biodiesel tax credit, makes needed reforms

Bipartisan bill extends $1/gal. tax credit through end of 2019 and allows it to be used only for domestically produced biodiesel.

Reps. Kristi Noem (R., S.D.) and Bill Pascrell (D., N.J.) introduced the Biodiesel Tax Incentive Reform & Extension Act of 2016 in the House. This legislation would extend the $1/gal. tax credit for biodiesel through the end of 2019 and reform the credit so it may be used only for fuel produced in the U.S.
