Bearish tone lingers in grain markets

Markets find little to feed on as WASDE report reveals few surprises and weather cooperates.

NO significant surprises were revealed in the U.S. Department of Agriculture's July 11 "World Agricultural Supply & Demand Estimates" (WASDE) report.

With the 2013-14 season coming to an end on Aug. 31, old-crop estimates offered a clearer picture for how the season will finish. Additionally, it provided perspective on where the 2014-15 season is headed as a result of mostly ideal growing conditions.
