For the first time in several years whole body turkeys are not only following a seasonal path but, more encouragingly, an expected one, according to Urner Barry analyst Russ Whitman.
“Since the year's outset, the residual value of 2015's record market has combined with low year-on-year inventories and reasonably finite whole bird production plans to result in fairly predictable market behavior.” Whitman said. “Trade sentiment too has not oscillated much from the start of 2016.”
