Ag co-op sales increases reflective of strong overall farm economy, with crop and livestock sales both up 6% in 2013.

FARMER cooperatives set a new sales record in 2013, with the U.S. Department of Agriculture reporting total business volume of more than $246 billion (Table). That surpassed the 2012 record by $8 billion, a 4% gain.
