ADM revenue falls in Q4

Ag Services operating profit declines $207 million from year-ago period.

Archer Daniels Midland Co. (ADM) recently released its fourth-quarter 2015 financial results, reflecting the impact of challenging market conditions that many commodity companies are currently facing.

The company reported adjusted earnings of 61 cents per share, down from $1.00 in the same period last year. Adjusted segment operating profit was $599 million, down 47% from $1.128 billion in the year-ago period. Net earnings for the quarter were $718 million, or $1.19 per share, and
