After nearly two months of waiting, the rest of the world was able to hear how former Georgia Gov. George “Sonny” Perdue will lead the U.S. Department of Agriculture, as he appeared before the Senate Agriculture Committee during a hearing March 23.
Multiple senators said he is the “right man for the job.” Perdue has widespread support from both sides of the aisle, and hundreds of groups have written in support of his nomination. That support was clearly evident
