BIOMIN survey indicates higher mycotoxin risks in corn, feed in 2017

More than three-quarters of samples contained two or more mycotoxins.

Mycotoxin-related threats to livestock production have risen in most regions of the world over the first quarter of 2017, according to the results of the most recent "BIOMIN Mycotoxin Survey."

More than 14,000 analyses were conducted on 3,715 finished feed and raw commodity samples sourced from 54 countries as part of the survey from January to March 2017.

According to BIOMIN, main trends from this year's survey include:

* A recent rise in mycotoxin contamination level
