A new literature review in the international journal, Advances in Dairy Research, examined 20 years’ worth of canola meal research in dairy rations. The review summarizes studies on canola meal’s palatability, protein and amino acid value, fatty acid composition, micronutrient profile as well as its impact on greenhouse gas emissions. The authors of the review, Essi Evans, Ph.D., E&E Technical Advisory Services and Brittany Wood, Director of Canola Utilization at the Canola Council of Canada, will join Feedstuffs 365 to discuss the key findings.
