OHIO SOYBEAN ASSN., Worthington, Ohio — Kirk Merritt has been named executive director. Merritt will be responsible for directing the missions of the Ohio Soybean Assn., the Ohio Soybean Council and the Ohio Soybean Council Foundation. He will also continue in his most recent role as executive director of the Ohio Soybean Council.

Ward will develop and strengthen relationships with government public officials, university advocates and leadership, agencies and related staff to advance the university’s agenda. He will monitor legislation and governmental issues, execute lobbying efforts, appropriation requests and preparation and participate in strategy development. He was previously with the Ohio Soybean Assn.
