U.S. infrastructure gets a D+

In order to remain profitable in agriculture, more investment is needed in railroads, inland waterways, ports and bridges.

Every four years, the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) publishes "The Infrastructure Report Card," which grades the current state of national infrastructure categories on a scale of A through F. The overall grade given to U.S. infrastructure incorporating all 16 categories is a D+, while some individual categories saw higher grades.
